Our transitional living housing is a program that exists to help an individual reenter the community after homelessness, incarceration, or when looking for a safe, clean, and sober environment, helping them to get back on their feet.

We want you to feel safe and secure, creating a place you can call home, while providing support and encouragement for you as you transition.

We charge a weekly rate: $165 (includes utilities)

We provide the following resources:
✔List of Community Resources
✔List of Nearby Food Pantries
✔Community Pantry for residents at Matthew House
✔List of Local Employment Opportunities
✔Bus Routes
✔Addicts at the Cross and Life Recovery Programs
✔Biblical Counseling
✔Clothing Closet
✔Learning About Finances
✔Probation/Parole Compliance

We require all residents to attend weekly meetings, pay rent, work, follow the rules, stay clean and sober, and respect your fellow roommates.

Matthew House

Matthew House is our first house and is for men.
The name Matthew House is for two different reasons, one from the apostle, Matthew. Matthew was a tax collector, rejected by many. The individuals around Jesus did not feel He should be spending time with Matthew and the other tax collectors. It was when Jesus called Matthew that He said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor-sick people do" (Matthew 9:12) and we can use this as a reminder to show encouragement to those around us who need support through challenges. The other reason is a reminder of the theme of Compassionate Hearts; Kind Minds, when Jesus says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22: 37-39)." May this house be a reminder to first love God and second to love those around us.
